Abe's Oddysee - New 'N' Tasty (also known as Abe's Oddysee HD) was announced after Stranger's Wrath HD and Munch's Oddysee HDin2011. The remake will not be just an HD update. It will be an entirely new game and will have his release in autumn 2013.

On the Oddworld Inhabitants Facebook Page it was announced that Abe's Oddysee HD will be reboot of the original PS1 title. "We decided to reboot it, not just an HD update to the original PS1 title, this is a NEW game. It will be getting it's first public showing LATER this year, with a release date of NEXT summer (2013)."

Brighton, UK, 9th August 2012: Eurogamer Expo, the UK’s biggest and best gaming festival, is pleased to reveal that Oddworld Inhabitants and Just Add Water will be showcasing Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD and announcing exclusive details at this year’s show.
Added by Radical Edward2The Eurogamer Expo will be returning to London’s Earls Court from 27th–30th September 2012 and is expected to welcome over 50 000 gamers.
Industry veteran and Oddworld creator Lorne Lanning will be on stage at 2.30 pm on Sunday 30th September to talk about the history of the series and showcase Abe HD. He and developer Just Add Water will also reveal exclusive new details to attendees, including the first-glimpse demonstration of the game.
“It’s great to welcome the Just Add Water guys back to the Expo stage and we’re delighted that Lorne Lanning is heading over from the States to showcase Abe HD,” said Eurogamer Operations Director Tom Bramwell.
The Eurogamer Expo takes place 27th–30th September 2012 at Earls Court, London, and promises more playable games than ever (including a large number of UK first-plays), our highest-profile developer session schedule, as well as a number of satellite events including the Games Industry Fair.
