The Spirit Ring is a basic Mudokon power that detonates all explosives and Chant Suppressors in its range. Abe can obtain the Spirit Ring ability by receiving it from a chanting monk, though most require a whistle combination before they bestow they power up upon Abe. After the ability is obtained a red ring will pulsate around Abe, specifically around his chest. In New 'n' Tasty, the pulses cycle between, one pulse, two pulses and three pulses in that order. The Spirit ring is only able to be used once before it is dispersed, and you can only obtain it again by returning to the ability giving Mudokon.
