Elum-Bells in Paramonia and Scrabania
Ringing an Elum-Bell summons an Elum to help Abe traverse the dangers of Scrabania and Paramonia. In Abe's Oddysee, both bells appear as stone cones around the size of a Mudokon, with a hammer the size of a Mudokon head. In New 'n' Tasty, the Paramonian Bell appears as a similar cone, but much larger, and with a counter-balance to the hammer, which is now the size of a Paramite. The Scrabanian bell is instead a large golden dome, with an internal, unseen hammer.
Gameplay[]
Elum Bells are found exclusively in the first areas of the Paramonian forest and the Scrabanian desert. They are activated by pulling a hoop, which swings the hammer to ring the bell. An Elum will appear soon after on the ground level. In New 'n' Tasty, these bells are the only objects to be interacted with by hopping upwards to pull down a hoop, while that mechanic appears elsewhere in Abe's Oddysee.
