Recently OWI has began to publish posts on their Twitter citing articles from this site, along with content that heavily implies that the wiki is in some way official or sanctioned.

We'd like to dispel this rumor now: The Fandom Wiki is 100% community run and has in fact been long plagued by information of dubious validity, despite the valiant efforts of its editors (whose job we really appreciate, keep up the good fight!). For this reason, we'd like to ask our readers to take everything here with a great chunk of salt, especially when it comes to content without valid citations.

If you wish to fight against misinformation, you're encouraged to contribute high-quality content to the wiki—that is content that's propped up by a trusted source (examples include: Oddworld.com, Magog on the March, or The Oddworld Library) and contain no headcanons, theorizing, or any further content not directly coming from Oddworld Inhabitants.

Zulag 1 is a level in Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee. The player visits this section of RuptureFarms twice. First during the escape, where the level is simply called RuptureFarms, and again during the return where the level is called Zulag 1.

Walkthrough[]

The level will begin with Abe falling down from the upper walkway. Upon landing, he must walk to the right until he enters the next room. In the next room, there will be a Directory panel that will provide you with block maps of the playable areas of the level. Once you've finished reviewing the directory, hoist yourself up onto the elevated platform. Once you've situated yourself onto the elevated platform, you can't go back as a result of the pursuing Slig managing to catch up with you. He WILL shoot you if you try to go back down.

All 28 Mudokons will be killed, if not rescued before leaving the area.

Zulag 1 (Second visit)[]

Walkthrough[]

Abe needs to free all the Modokons in this level to summon Shrykull and eliminate the guards so he can head to Zulag 2. Head back the way you came and check ever secret area plus an area you have not been. Once you freed all the Modokons you are free to use Shrykull to kill the Sligs and enter Zulag 2.

Notes[]

  • In the opening cutscene, there is a Big Cheese-like Glukkon in a green suit with a larger popped out collar than any of the other Glukkons in the conference room. It is possible that this Glukkon may have a status somewhat higher than that of a Big Cheese.
  • The directory in the beginning of the level states that there are 99 Mudokon employees posted. However, it is not possible to rescue them all during the first level.
