A SnUzi is essentially a giant needle, which fires darts laden by a powerful poison-drug, which was originally intended to be used to induce sleep on rabid test subjects for security purposes, but it instead passed as a failed experiment that quickly kills its target. It has a rapid rate of fire and is used as a weapon by Interns or Vykkers. Also, a modified version is mounted on Snoozers. This one, however, uses less lethal narcotics formed from the poison drug and uses three rotating barrels for an even faster rate of fire.
The Poison-Drug[]
As aforementioned, the drug was originally meant to act as a general anesthetic that could be used at range against more uncontrollable targets. However, the anesthetic proved too strong and ended up killing the test subjects instead. This first generational drug would than be repurposed as a weapon whilst a later, more successful generation of the drug would be mounted on the Snoozer.

Standard SnUzi[]
A standard SnUzi
The standard SnUzi is ironically more dangerous to both the user and its targeted subject than the Snoozer Mounted Turret. It contains essentially a 'belt' of multiple hypodermic needles filled to the brim with a dangerous poison-drug.
Compared to the more common T1 Fully Automatic, the SnUzi has a much higher ammunition count, being able to dispense hundreds of needles before needing to reload. However, it has slightly less stopping power due to the fragility of the needles and requires more shots than average to take down an opponent.
Snoozer Mounted Turret[]

The SnUzi mounted on the Snoozer is a much large variant than the smaller hand-held SnUzi. Ironically, it is also less lethal as the drug administered by the Snoozer is newer and does its intended job, knocking out dozens of targets in seconds.
Although it isn't lethal, the sheer rate of fire and unlimited ammunition ensures that the SnUzi turret never runs out of ammo. In highly congested levels, this weapon can be a life saver for both Abe and Munch.

- The SnUzi is the Oddworld equivalent and pun on the real-world sub-machine gun known as the Uzi.
- The name is also a pun on the word snooze, which means to sleep.
