Oddworld Wiki

Hi! Welcome to the Oddworld Fandom Wiki!

Recently OWI has began to publish posts on their Twitter citing articles from this site, along with content that heavily implies that the wiki is in some way official or sanctioned.

We'd like to dispel this rumor now: The Fandom Wiki is 100% community run and has in fact been long plagued by information of dubious validity, despite the valiant efforts of its editors (whose job we really appreciate, keep up the good fight!). For this reason, we'd like to ask our readers to take everything here with a great chunk of salt, especially when it comes to content without valid citations.

If you wish to fight against misinformation, you're encouraged to contribute high-quality content to the wiki—that is content that's propped up by a trusted source (examples include: Oddworld.com, Magog on the March, or The Oddworld Library) and contain no headcanons, theorizing, or any further content not directly coming from Oddworld Inhabitants.

Thank you for your attention and understanding! Happy reading and editing!

Magog Motors is a manufacturer of parts for various vehicles and devices. As it's name suggests, it is owned and ran by the Magog Cartel. The factory is heavily guarded by Armoured Popper Sligs, while Bonepowder Kegs and mines are found everywhere. Abe and Munch must make their way through this factory and rob the Glukkon in charge in Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee.

Description[]

The land Magog Motors has stolen for its main facility is typical of that seen in the northern plateaus of East Mudos: thin grasses an sparse trees struggle to grow on grey rocky turf. The local river that might have once nurtured the flora has been repurposed as a moat to protect the facility. A local Mudokon resistance force has set up a series of shrines to train a force into Mudarchers, but these two shrines have been divided by a minefield. A single bridge gives access to the main facility, although it is well guarded by Armoured Popper Sligs, with Chant Suppressors preventing Mudokon saboteurs from possessing the Sligs to get in.

The facility interior is further guarded by Big Bro Sligs and the main maintenance walkway is excessively boobytrapped. A secret path can be opened from a secondary walkway, but the access lever is in on a platform a Slig is usually guarding. The exact nature of what the facility does is unknown, but it likely involves water (perhaps as a coolant), and water from the river is found flooding the lower levels.

Oddworld: Munch's Oddysee[]

Magog Motors is the third industrial organisation targeted by Abe and Munch in their quest to give Lulu the fortune needed to earn the privilege to board Vykker's Lab. This facility is noticeably larger and more well built up than the previous two, which were makeshift start-ups. Munch started by clearing the moat of its guards by shocking them off into the water. Abe then traverses to river to find a Mudokon resistance force, which he trains up to Mudarchers in order to assault the facility. After breaking in, ABe possess the Glukkon in charge, donates Magog Motor's funds to Lulu, and escapes with Munch in tow.
